Maryann C. Stallone

Biography

Maryann is a Partner and commercial litigator in Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. She has over a decade of experience counseling business entities and executives in a broad range of industries on the best ways to prosecute, defend and resolve their complex business disputes in the state and federal courts, arbitration and alternate dispute resolution forums. She is a passionate advocate and effective negotiator who seeks to solve problems and develop litigation strategies that obtain her clients’ overall objectives and where feasible to resolve business disputes through negotiation and mediation.

She has:

• represented clients in the hedge fund, private equity, accounting, architectural, hotel, dental, real estate, construction, global media and communications, family office, retail and staffing industries as well as several organizations in the not-for-profit sector. ; and
• handled cases involving complex commercial contracts, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, unfair competition, tortious interference, business breakups, employment discrimination, trademark and copyright infringement, trusts and estates litigation, fraud, licensing disputes under Section 881 of the New York Real Property Actions and Proceedings Law, and professional malpractice.

Maryann also regularly lectures and writes on the topics of restrictive covenants, business break-ups, professional responsibility and cybersecurity, and is actively involved in the Women’s Initiative Group at her firm, a group that creates a platform for women professionals across industries to build their business networks, support each other and collaborate on business and marketing endeavors.
